A poppy-hip-hop-soulful-trio crept their way into my headphones this afternoon and I couldn't feel happier about it. Have you heard of, Hare Squead? Yeah, HARE SQUEAD (@haresqued). The trio stems from Dublin, Ireland and blends a plethora of waves from R&B soul to early 2000s-esque pop to 90s-grunge melodies and hip hop flows that uplift your mood immediately. If you don't believe me, check their 2016 EP Supernatural here.
They've been absent from the music world for over a year even after securing a cosign from Goldlink (@goldlink), but they're back now with their newest single, "100 Miles." SHEEESH! They did such a great job on this one. The Hawaiian-inspired ukulele and drum instrumental accompanied with melodic admiration for love on the intro automatically puts a smile in your Shaq-shimmy. I've put the song in my daily rotation listen and can't wait for you to hear it.
Feel free to stream the single below and let us know what you think! Go show Hare Squead some proper love from the DWHH community!
